Safety On may request permission to access your device's location in the background — meaning when the app is not open on screen or the device screen is off.
Background location permission is used to support the following features:
Background location is never used for advertising, and Safety On does not sell location data.
You can manage location permissions at any time in your Android device settings under Apps → Safety On → Permissions → Location. You can choose to allow location all the time, only while using the app, or deny it entirely. Some features will not work correctly without the appropriate location permission level.
